To create a welcoming experience for everyone, we set clear expectations for the behavior and content in our ecosystem and take action against those who violate our rules. We also implement default safety settings for our youngest players, and provide tools for players, parents and developers to manage their experience.
Our Rules
We have Community Rules that set clear guidelines for how we expect all players to behave inside our ecosystem. We also have Content Guidelines with details on content that can’t be shared through our different experiences, services and marketplaces.
Reporting Content or Behavior to Epic
Players can use in-game mechanisms to report inappropriate behavior or content. For example, voice and text chat reporting enables players to submit evidence to Epic for suspected violations of our Community Rules.
Additionally, if a player suspects that content in any of our products or services violates our Community Rules or Content Guidelines or is illegal, they can use this form to report it. Further information about how to report misconduct can be found here.
Users in Brazil who are qualified notifiers under Article 29 of Law No. 15.211/2025 can submit a content removal request by filling out this form and selecting 'Content or behavior you think is illegal' as the reporting reason.
Sanctions
We take action when we identify violations of our rules, including illegal content or conduct, with consequences that vary depending on the severity of the violation and the number of previous sanctions a user has received. More information about Epic’s sanctions can be found here.
Appeals and Complaints
Users can appeal a sanction decision if they believe a mistake was made during moderation. Further information about how to submit an appeal can be found here.
Safety Tools and Settings
Further information about Epic’s safety and privacy settings and features – including how to block or mute other players, Cabined Accounts for Brazilian users under the age of 13, and parental controls – can be found in Epic’s Safety and Security Center.
